About Me
Creative by nature, lover of all things cheese, problem-solving is what makes me tick and puzzles are my jam! I am motivated by impacting the community around me, have a background in Human Services and a passion for coding. I love to make things, take things apart and put them back together. Working in the tech industry has always been a dream of mine. In 2021, I had a lighbulb moment and realized the only way to truly be happy was to change career paths and make that dream become my reality. Since then, I have enrolled in and completed the Software Engineering Immersive Course through General Assembly, am excited for what the future holds and ready to creatively solve all the problems and puzzles that come my way!During my free time, you will find me fly fishing, camping, traveling, watching football, drinking coffee, behind the decks or on the dance floor exploring my diverse music addiction.

Inspiration Station
48hrs - Pair React (JavaScript) | Sass | CSS | API | Netlify Inspiration Station is a Front-end App that links 2 API's and provides the user a random quote or new hobby idea for the day. I worked mainly on linking the API's using URL variables, creating the navigation bar, user registration and login page, and linking the quotes and hobbies buttons to their respective pages using multiple React Hooks and state variables. 1 week - Group React (JavaScript) | Sass | CSS | Bulma | MongoDB | Node | Express | JWT | Netlify | Heroku CineMap is a Full Stack MERN App that inspires users to watch independent films from all over the world. I worked full stack and my contributions were writing functions for the film index, all registration/login/logout functionality, secure routing/middleware, slide-out navigation bar, connecting the db to the front-end and CRUD functionality for all films.
